Curious but a Little Nervous? That's Completely Normal.
Most of our members walked through the door feeling exactly the way you do right now. Whether you dread speaking in front of a group or simply want to feel more comfortable in conversations, you are in the right place. Chamber Ad Lib Orators is a judgment-free zone where every experience level is welcome — and no one will ever pressure you to speak before you're ready.

What Happens at a Thursday Morning Meeting?
Our meetings run from 7:30 to 8:30 AM every Thursday. Here's a typical agenda so you know exactly what to expect the moment you walk in.
1
Welcome and Introductions
Guests are warmly introduced. You'll hear a little about how the meeting works before anything begins.
2
Prepared Speeches
Members deliver speeches based on their individual Pathways learning goals. Topics vary widely — from personal stories to professional presentations.
3
Table Topics
A fun impromptu speaking segment. Members respond to short, spontaneous questions. Guests are never required to participate.
4
Evaluations and Feedback
Speakers receive encouraging, specific feedback from trained evaluators. This is one of the most valuable parts of the meeting.
5
Announcements and Closing
Brief club updates, award recognition, and a warm close. The whole meeting wraps up by 8:30 AM.
Questions Guests Ask Most
If something is still on your mind, reach out — we're happy to answer.
Will I be asked to speak?
No. Guests are never called on to give a speech or participate in Table Topics unless they specifically want to. Your first visit is entirely pressure-free — come observe, listen, and get a feel for the meeting.
How long is the meeting?
Our meetings run exactly one hour, from 7:30 to 8:30 AM every Thursday at Broomfield Community Center. You'll be on your way before most people's workday begins.
Do I need to register or RSVP?
No registration is required. You're welcome to walk in as a guest any Thursday. If you'd like to give us a heads-up or ask a question first, feel free to contact Peter Brissette at 303.842.8698 — but it's never an obligation.
What happens after the meeting?
Members often stay a few minutes to chat. If you're interested in joining, someone will be happy to answer questions and share information about membership. There is no sales pitch and no pressure to decide on the spot.
Can I visit more than once before joining?
Absolutely. Guests are welcome to attend multiple meetings before making any decision. We want you to feel completely comfortable and confident that Toastmasters is the right fit for you.
